Two Wings School is a certified Child Care Centre that delivers the pre-school programme in English and Swahili, offering an affordable access to quality education for all families. Two Wings aims now at opening a Primary School section.

Why education in English?

​

In the Tanzanian Education System all subjects are taught in Swahili at the primary school. English is just a subject. Conversely, at secondary school, the curriculum is taught in English, being Swahili one of the subjects.

 

Consequently, the academic gap between both levels causes:

• Reduced enrolment at higher education.

​​

• Disadvantage for children from financially deprived families.

​​

• Advantage for the very few children whose families can afford Private schools that offer instruction in English.
