CONGRATULATIONS TWO WINGS FOR THE
REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE OF CHILD CARE CENTER!
Our cooperation partner, Two Wings Nursery School, has worked very hard to gain the official Nursery School certification from the Tanzanian Government.
Two Wings, as a private Tanzanian initiative, was founded in 2012 without any support from Western NGOs, financial aids or volunteering programmes. However, despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, Two Wings continued to persevere in their goals.
After several visits and recommendations from the Tanzanian authorities, Two Wings renovated the school toilets, ceilings and main building, work which was totally self-funded.
Goal for 2023-2024:
Buy land to regain the Primary School official status
In 2020 we lost the permission to run our former Primary school section because of insufficient land.
To regain the primary school certification from the Tanzanian government we need to invest on a plot of land of 3 acres, which will cost around €8500.
