Winter 2022 - Two Wings supports Ukraine students
Our wo Wings partners are aware of the unfortunate events that Europe is facing at the moment. Thus, in an statement written to DIS, Mr. Hamis Juma expressed his wish to redirect the school supplies intended for them, to the Ukrainian crisis:
“We are thankful for the support we have been getting from the Dresden School community. We want to render our gratitude and appreciation for the box intended to come to Two Wings. With all the difficulties that our fellow European friends are facing due to war, would the box to be given to them as it might be of help. Two Wings community is hoping for this war to stop ”.

March 2020 - Madam Eva Ndongolo visits Dresden International School
Madam Ndongolo attended a one-week training programme in the Primary section of Dresden International School, in Germany.
The training aimed at developing the following teaching and learning skills:
-
Unit planning and assessment
-
Behaviour management
-
Design of a day schedule
As a result of the training, Two Wings is implementing:
-Learning by doing,
-Development of cognitive skills through play and inquiry.
-Use outdoor environment as learning experiences.
The experience culminated with a whole school event, where Eva shared her experiences with our community of students, parents and teachers.
